Just enter Webhosting in the Google search engine and you are presented with literally hundreds of web hosting review sites. Some are web hosting providers sites but many are web hosting review sites.

There are so many of these webhosting review sites.

This is because good web hosting companies pay a commission to the site owner if they get a sale from someone coming from that site.This does not mean that you should be discouraged by all review sites. They can be very helpful for the following reasons.

1 – There are some genuine review sites on the web that are not totally driven by sales.

2 – Most but not all review site owners do not list companies with poor reputations. Low quality web hosting companies quickly get weeded out among webmasters. Nothing makes someone disregard a web hosting review site more, than seeing a low quality hosting company with a high rating. Review site owners need credibility and quality reviews to continue to have web visitors coming back !

3 – Web hosting providers that can afford to pay high commissions to affiliates must be doing well to afford to pay those commissions.

Whereas low quality web hosting companies, typically cannot pay those commissions. This is because due to all the competition in the marketplace the affiliate commission structure can be lucrative.
